The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking if anyone recognizes the couple in these photos.
On Sunday, August 23rd at about 12:15pm, the couple arrived at a supermarket on Memorial Boulevard (US Hwy 92 West) in Lakeland, in a light colored 4-door (unknown make/model). It appears they covered the license plate with a black trash bag upon arrival.
In the store, the couple loaded up a shopping cart and then left the store quickly.
A store employee confronted the couple in the parking lot, but the male suspect pulled out a hand gun and said, "Leave it!"
